Hello!

My name is Rachel. Pleased to meet you.  

I live in Dublin, Ireland, but I was born and raised in Northern California and I like to make stuff.

This blog will, hopefully, serve as a place for me to keep track of all my crafty endeavors, interact with others who share my interests and ideally to learn. I post about my work, other people’s work, and things not related to work at all!

I’ve been into crafts of all sorts all my life. As a kid it was the usual “kid craft” type activities, but I’ve always loved to draw. As a teenager I worked in several craft stores and was introduced to every craft imaginable. Later, I got a job at a local bead store and got heavily into beading and jewelry making and have been doing that for over 10 years now. I am happiest when working with insanely long lengths of thread, extremely tiny beads and razor sharp needles.

My friends and family have always been extremely supportive of me and I could never thank them enough. I would not be where I am without them. Yes, that is cliche, but very true.
