Finito!

Well, the blog is done. For now. It is a constant work in process, but I’m happy with it for now.

Of course I didn’t take a screenshot of the before, but here is my previous header.

and my previous share images…

I got rid of all my shop flash widgets, changed theme colours, etc. I’m hoping to eventually create my own original share icons again, but for now these will do.

I never did get around to retaking my packaging photo, as discussed in my last post comments, but I will! Hubby is home ill so I’ve been tending to him – that is my excuse!

I have a whole new appreciation for web/graphic designers. I wish I could afford a professional, but alas, it’s just me.

Birdie Board

I won these little “wooden” birdie wall stickers ages ago in a competition on DaWanda. They come from the very talented Enna. I’ve been wanting to put them up, but seeing as we’re renters and I wasn’t sure I could remove and relocate them, they’ve just been sitting, waiting to be put to use.

So, I simply stuck them to a bulletin board.

Now I can take them with me should we ever move!

Just Something I Made

I purchased a bunch of old, vintage glass bottles ages ago on Ebay. This blue one had been sitting around unbeaded (gasp!) for a while, so I finally got around to doing something with it.

I’m very pleased with how it turned out. What do you think?

WIP to Finished Product

As I talked about in my last post, I was undecided how to finalise this design. I finally decided to keep them long and I love how they turned out.

I added a simple, beautiful Burgundy faceted Mookaite bead to the bottoms and hung them from coordinating Copper ear wires.

I’m going to make some shorter, simpler versions of these and probably some more long versions in different colours, as well.

They are now listed in the shop! Do you like?

Work in Progress

I can’t decide what I want these to be yet. I have them linked together at the moment to make some long, shoulder length earrings, but I’m also contemplating splitting them up and making single earrings. Maybe a bracelet? I guess I’ll just have to make some more!
