August Break: Day 6

One of our regular visitors.

[That is clover he is nestled into, to give you some reference of his size.]

He is teeny tiny.

He could also be a she. I don’t know.

August Break: Day 1

Who needs a break?

I do!

I’m taking part in the, much needed, August Break hosted by the lovely Susannah Conway.

August always proves to be a very, very busy month for me. I have a LOT of birthdays in August, a lot of preparation to do leading up to the holidays and we’re redoing/extending our backyard in a rush before Winter. And many other exciting things I won’t bore you with.

So, I hope to enjoy this free time on the blog. Taking photos, practicing my mad skills.

Today is Day 1 for me, as yesterday was another bank holiday here in Ireland and I gladly took the day off of work.

The photo above was taken in the backyard of a gorgeous Danish Flag Poppy we had completely forgot about until it flowered. And boy, does it flower!

If you’re in need of a break, I do hope you’ll join us! There is a lot of us! Click on that big button to check out the list of participants!
