Well, not me. But, my earrings are!

You may remember this post? Well, Confetti Magazine (Ireland’s most popular wedding mag) decided to run the shoot in their new Spring 2012 issue!

Very exciting! It’s a trip to be able to walk into a shop and pick up a magazine with your work in it. A first for me.

I have to, of course, thank Lisa, the wonderful photographer responsible for this shoot. Without her none of this would have been possible.

I am very excited to be sharing this with you all today.

A few weeks ago, the lovely and extremely talented Lisa O’Dwyer put a call out on the Etsy Ireland Facebook Page for submissions for an Easter themed DIY Wedding photo shoot.

I, of course, and many of my wonderful Etsy Ireland team members sent in some pieces for the event.

I had seen some of Lisa’s work before and it is magnificent, so I knew the photos would be fabulous and I’ve been so excited every day since, waiting to see them!

They were well worth the wait…

favourite UK vintage sellers on Etsy

I love strolling through the vintage shops on Etsy. These are a few of my favourites from the close enough to ship to me UK!

- Restless General Store has many, many things I want. And the photographs are fantastic.

- hello darling! vintage has some super cute home decor, as well as clothes and shoes.

- purple pumpkins has some wonderful old trims and ribbons!

- A Good Vintage has lovely goodies, like these…

- and Refound Relics has a lot of lovely rustic pieces.

My paypal acct. is suffering, but I am very happy. That is what’s important here.

New look, new packaging

I haven’t discussed this here yet, but I’ve recently made the decision to change my branding. I’ve got a new logo for my shops and I’m in the process of changing my packaging/colour scheme. Next, hopefully this weekend, is the blog!

To help with this I recently acquired a bunch of new packaging supplies from the super lovely, The Gilded Bee on Etsy. She has such a wonderful shop, I could seriously spend all day in there!

Here are a few things that I got…

( I got some of her cute, wee flowers, too. But, I put them on display in my studio already and they didn’t get into the photo. )
