From November 24 until December 19, 2008, Dawanda will be running a promotion for the holidays.

Each day, one product category will be selected to feature an 11% discount in the following categories: Fashion, Accessories, Bags, Jewellery, Baby & Children, Home, Art and Supplies. The discount times will run daily and all day long and will feature one product category at a time. The discount will be applied to the products of participating DaWanda shop owners for the duration of the Advent Calender.

Imagekind Summer Games Contest

Everyone’s in the spirit!

Imagekind are also running a promotion in honour of the Summer Games.

You can submit your own work or nominate another’s art to compete in each of their different events. This is a great opportunity for members. You do need to have at least 5 images in your gallery to enter, but if you’re not a member it’s easy to sign up. You can then nominate and are eligible to vote.

The categories are…

Unity – Coming together for a common cause drives athletes (ok and a little competition) as well as our everyday activities. What do you visualize when you think of Unity? Send us your work that best shows what Unity means!

Pushing the Limits – Some parts of the competition are about pushing through the pain. Show us an image that shows the grit of competition or of life and pushing through it to get the result you want.

Speed – Is it better to dash to the finish line, or does slow and steady win the race? Whether it’s your technique or the subject of your piece, the timing is everything.

The lovely folks over at Dawanda are running a promotion to celebrate this years Olympic Summer Games. The promotion will run everyday from August 8th to August 24th.

Twice daily, an ephemeral 11% discount
